Title: For Afnan, Obstacles Became Stepping Stones

“Life taught me not to stop whatever the obstacles, and nothing can stop me from reaching my goal.” Afnan and her family struggled a lot during the ISIS occupation. She had to leave school and work with her family to overcome the financial problems that came with war. When the dark time of ISIS finally ended, Afnan returned to complete her study and finish at the Technical Medical institute of Mosul.

Her passion didn’t stop there; she joined WorkWell to add more skills and become more qualified to find a job that suits her ambition. After six months of hard work and training, Afnan got her first job as a Medical assistant at Al-Zhoor Dentistry Clinic. Afnan believes that the path to achieving her goals is full of adventures and challenges, but in the end, when she reached her destination, she realized how rewarding life could be.
